FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Sequart Research & Literacy Organization (sequart.org) is proud to announce the release of Warren Ellis: The Captured Ghosts Interviews, an interview book by Patrick Meaney and Kevin Thurman.
In 2010 and 2011, legendary comic book creator Warren Ellis sat down over several days to film career-spanning interviews for the documentary film Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts. During those sessions, Ellis talked about his life and his work. He discussed the evolution of his career, described his writing process, explored the themes that fascinate him, and detailed the role technology plays in his work (and in the development of his famous online persona). Only a small fraction of this material made it into the documentary. A transcription of more than nine hours of conversations, this book is a record of these historic interviews as well as a fascinating portrait of one of comics' greatest writers.
The book runs 160 pages and retails for $12.99 in print and $6.99 on Kindle.
About the Publisher: Sequart Research & Literacy Organization is a non-profit devoted to the study and promotion of comic books as a legitimate art form. It publishes books and documentaries aimed at making comics scholarship accessible. For more information, click here.
